We Sing the Year ‘Round – A Celebration in Song
Dr. John Ferguson, Festival Director

The choirs of St. Paul’s, St. Mark's, and St. Timothy’s with additional community voices will join together on a journey through themes of the church year, exploring various styles of hymnody along the way.

Festival director John Ferguson, a gifted organist, composer, conductor, and author, served for twenty-nine years at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, as Professor of Organ and Church Music. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Ferguson studied at Oberlin College, Kent State University, and the Eastman School of Music. He taught at Kent State University from 1963-78, during which time he also served as Organist-Choirmaster of the United Church of Christ, Kent, Ohio. 

A Free-will offering will be collected to help defray costs of the event

Ohio Open Doors

Drop in anytime during the open house 12:00-2:00pm, FREE admission. St. Timothy's church is one of the oldest churches in Massillon and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tour the church and hear the facinating history of original Tiffany stained glass windows and Massillon's many prominent citizens.

Akron Rubber Ducks Game

Come and join us, as the Eastern League first-place Akron Rubber Ducks take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels. 
Bonus: It's Comic-con day! Come out for free comic books, dress up like your favorite superheroes and even meet your favorite superheroes on this fun day at the ballpark! 
Tickets are only $7. Sign up in the parish hall and come on out for a day of fun and superheroes!
